Developer Spry Fox established an upfront purchase model following community discussion.
Regarding microtransactions, Spry Fox stated: “We’re intentionally avoiding microtransactions in Spirit Crossing, so you can focus on enjoying your game, not stressing about your wallet.”
Cozy Club Membership
Players who want to support ongoing development can subscribe to an optional monthly Cozy Club membership.
Spry Fox noted: “We will also offer a completely optional monthly “Cozy Club” membership for players who want to continue supporting our studio and future Spirit Crossing development.”
The membership includes nice-to-have features that were non-controversial within the community.
Members are able to customize their flying pet fluffalo. Subscribers also collect exclusive flairs. Members gain access to a limited resource exchange shop.
