Spry Fox announced that the Spirit Crossing demo is playable during Steam Next Fest.

The free demo provides an opportunity for players to test the game and explore its features ahead of release.

All demo progress transfers into the full game at launch.

Playtest participants must switch over to the demo version on Steam.

The demo contains the exact same game as the playtest build, and existing playtest progress remains intact.

Players transitioning from the playtest will also find a small reward waiting for them as thanks.

Players looking to invite friends can generate recruit codes from within the game.

An invite code can be generated directly from the starting screen by selecting Recruit Friends.

Players can also access the recruit feature in-game from the main menu or use the recruit button on the Friends list.

After finding the Generate Invite Code option, players can share the code with friends.

Spirit Crossing is a multiplayer game set in the Crosslands, a storm-swept world above the clouds.

Players can build a home, help spirits, advance friendships with non-player characters, and mingle with other players at their own pace.

The experience is centered around small acts of kindness and brief connections that make players feel a little less alone.

Over the past year and a half, a dedicated community of playtesters has helped shape Spirit Crossing through ongoing feedback.

The development team is active in Discord and the Steam discussion forums throughout Steam Next Fest to answer questions and gather feedback.

Spry Fox also announced plans to share another news update before the festival concludes detailing plans for the launch.
